Indian Air Force Su-30MKI
After the air battles with Pakistan that took place in early May, the Indian command summed up the results and decided to increase the combat potential of its aircraft, following the proven path – through emergency purchases.
As indicated in the IDRW publication, the MiG-29UPG and Su-30MKI front-line fighters began to receive the latest Russian-made RVV-SD ("Product 170-1").:

Key improvements include increased range, increased accuracy and probability of target detection, greater resistance to interference, and the ability to operate at any time of the day and in any natural environment.
Targeting is carried out using an ANN with radio correction in the middle section of the flight, and the active radar seeker 9B-1103M is activated on the final trajectory. The damage radius is up to 110 km, which is significantly further than the 80 km of the R-77. RVV-SD is able to destroy highly maneuverable targets due to increased overload resistance (up to 12 g).

- the publication says.
According to the author, RVV-SD will be used by Indian aircraft of Russian origin at the forefront, responsible for deterring the enemy's first strike. However, it is considered as a temporary measure until it is replaced by the national missile defense system Astra MkI, which has already been adopted, and a more advanced version of the Astra MkII, which is under development.
